This Week's Update

The last week of school before the holidays always seems to go at a hectic pace.  I find solace in Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me."

There are a few updates for this week.  The student council is sponsoring a toy drive for Mother of Sorrows School.  The goal is for each class to sponsor a class at Mother of Sorrows, so each student receives a gift this Christmas.  For some at the school, it may be the only gift they get this Christmas.

The Christmas Program is Thursday, December 15 at 7:00.  Please have all students report to the fifth grade classroom by 6:30pm.  The attire for the program is "Christmas Best."  The students would also like to wear Santa hats for our song.  It would be nice touch for our program, I would love each student to have one for the night of the program.

Monsignor Norm decreed a "Pastor's Holiday" for Friday, December 16, so there will be no school, Friday, December 16. Because of the holiday, I have rescheduled some of the tests for this week.
Tests this week:

Tuesday
Vocabulary - Unit 7 Test

Wednesday

Math - Ch. 9 Test
Toys for toy drive due

Typed rough draft of state report due.  Students have been working on this in the St. Jerome computer lab.  More information to come soon regarding "note cards."
